New medical marijuana bill signed in to law

Governor Stitt signed a new medical marijuana bill today in to law.

Gov. Kevin Stitt signed into law a bill establishing an extensive medical marijuana framework in Oklahoma on Thursday, a move supporters say is a necessary step toward legal security for patients and businesses.

“Since day one, I have said I support medical marijuana, when prescribed by a doctor, to help those with a serious health issue,” Stitt said in a prepared statement. “I applaud the Legislature for their hard work and dedication to form the bipartisan, bicameral working group that has been working to address medical marijuana regulations since June.”
