Open Forum/Monthly Luncheon

The Sand Springs Chamber of Commerce hosts a luncheon on the first Monday of each month featuring networking opportunities and a speaker targeting business development, legislative policy, career coaching and other important topics.

Worldwide Exposure at SandSpringsChamber.com

The Sand Springs Chamber’s website, SandSpringsChamber.com, includes a business directory of members in categorical order. Members may also be hyperlinked to their own website. Additional advertising opportunities are also available. The website includes an event calendar available exclusively to members and news and announcements from membership.

Weekly Briefing Newsletter

Each week, the “What’s Happening in Sand Springs” newsletter is emailed to all chamber members. The newsletter is the most widely read business digest in our community with information on chamber events, member’s news, legislation impacting business, new member benefits and more. New members are profiled, promoting their business.

New Comer Packet Distribution

Chamber members are invited to participate in a quarterly program allowing them to reach new potential clients via New Comer Packets, which are handed out to new Sand Springs residents when they turn on their water service with the city. Members may bring in any size brochure, rack cards, notepad or other promotional item they wish to be distributed. The chamber assembles the materials and delivers the packets.

Member Sponsorship Opportunities

High visibility and advertising value is offered to members who sponsor a Sand Springs Chamber promotion, such as the “What’s Happening in Sand Springs” newsletter, website, Annual Reception and others. As an   event sponsor, your name is prominently displayed and promoted. Pre-event publicity, as well as promotion during the events, affords your business added exposure.

Business Referral Service

Each year, thousands of chamber business members are referred by Sand Springs Chamber staff to callers seeking information and businesses. These referrals are limited exclusively to chamber members.

Social Media Promotion

Sand Springs Chamber members are profiled and promoted via the chamber’s social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Information Resource Center

Information resources are available at the Sand Springs Chamber office. Information includes community demographics, area and local phone directories, lists of clubs and organizations and local maps.

Quote for Chamber Services

All chamber members are given the opportunity to quote for chamber services such as catering, printing and more.

Advocacy

The Sand Springs Chamber is the voice of the business community in local, county and state issues with regard to problem solving, promoting economic development and legislation. The Sand Springs Chamber also partners with regional partners as part of the OneVoice Regional Legislative Agenda.

Committees

Get involved with the Sand Springs Chamber of Commerce offers members a variety of ways to get involved in the chamber.  Involvement with committees will allow participants to not only build a stronger chamber but a stronger community.

Ambassadors/Events

The Ambassador/Events Committee works to retain existing members and attract new members by serving as the face of the Chamber in the community. Ambassadors assist Chamber staff with programming throughout the year, including luncheons, ribbon cuttings and new member events. Any Chamber member can become an ambassador by contacting the Sand Springs Chamber at 918-245-3221.

Finance Committee

The Budget Committee is an invitation only committee tasked with overseeing the Chamber’s financial position.

Economic Development Committee

The Economic Development Committee addresses needs in the business community ranging from site selection tours of Sand Springs to helping new businesses with construction issues and etc to help ensure Sand Springs stays on a path of progress. This committee is by invitation only.

Task Forces

Task forces are developed on an as-needed basis to address specific projects and events as they arise.

Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee helps develop the Chamber’s legislative priorities to advocate on behalf of the business community at the local, state and federal levels.
