Recreation & Entertainment
Sand Springs also has all the amenities that most communities offer in the way of recreation and sports. We have a multitude of lakes such as Shell Lake, Sand Springs Lake/Park and Keystone Lake that are just minutes away from town; great for boating or fishing. Case Community Park offers baseball, softball, basketball, soccer fields, BMX bike track, horseshoes, sand volleyball and who could forget the Rotary Splash Pad. Many activities also take place at the Case Community Center such as aerobics and gym activities. Sand Springs also has 16 parks within its community and each one offers a little something special. Pratt-Civitan Park also boasts a great splash pad, Ray Brown Park has just had new playground equipment installed in 2017 and Case Community Park has just had a major facelift to the tune of $4.2 million from Vision 2025 funds and $2 million from Mike and Pat Case. Now RiverCity Park is known as Case Community Park.
Another great offering is the Keystone Ancient Forest. This park has been preserved for it natural beauty of hills, woods and the perfect hiking location for a Saturday hike.
